The candidate for this position should possess advanced skills in mechanical/electrical, controls and PLC preferred. The ideal candidate would have working experience on freeze dryers controls/PLC, fill- lines, Siemens BMS, autoclaves, boilers and good electrical knowledge. Once hired, the Mechanic will be cross trained to work within a multi-crafted functions within the trades along with other full-time Mechanics on staff. Electrical/electronic, controls, PLC knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot equipment is very beneficial.

The Mechanic should possess good communication skills and be a team player within the Maintenance Department. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics is essential. The Mechanic will work independently and along side other Mechanics. A willingness to learn new equipment and systems and share experiences. The department will provide in-house or outsourced training on systems unfamiliar with.. The person will be working in cleanroom environments at times. Mactronix education and experience is very beneficial. The department emphasizes in hiring good character and building strong talent

Qualifications

Education:

– High School graduate.

Required:

– Minimum 5 years working in the field of mechanical/electrical at advanced level.

Preferred:

– Mechatronic’s or other electrical/mechanical trades post highschool education is very beneficial.

– Some of the systems serviced include: freeze dryers, autoclaves, fill-line/tunnel, chillers, cooling towers, low temp freezers, incubators, boilers, Siemens BMS systems, various PLC’s, HVAC/refrigeration.
