Description

1. Surveys, plans, installs, and programs custom equipment and systems at customer locations.

2. Inspects and advises on equipment and handling of Specialty Sales products.

3. Performs plumbing and electrical fabrication of all systems Specialty Sales, LLC installs or services.

4. Performs troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of equipment and systems that have been installed, employing appropriate tools, equipment, and diagnostic methods.

5. Maintains accurate records of service activities, inducing repairs, maintenance schedules, and inspections.

6. Works collaboratively with Dairy Account Managers for repairs and inspections of equipment, as needed.

7. Maintains parts inventory and has appropriate equipment, tools, and parts available while on location.

8. Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines while working at customer locations, ensuring safety of self and others. Uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

9. Reports all accidents, possible injuries and vehicle damage, safety issues, driving citations/traffic violations and customer complaints, to include service interruptions immediately to their manager.

10. Other duties and projects may be assigned.

This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires the employee to follow all Specialty Sales LLC safety policies and operating procedures.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

1. Provide evidence of employment eligibility acceptable to state and federal standards.

2. Must be at least 21 years old.

3. Requires a high school diploma/GED.

4. Able to pass pre-employment and annual screenings as appropriate for the position.

Required Skills and Abilities:

1. Basic electrical, plumbing, and welding experience required.

2. Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical issues preferred

3. Proficient in using computer technology in relationship to Specialty Sales’ equipment.

4. Ability to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions with dairy cattle present.

5. Ability to utilize ladders and other field service equipment required for the position.

6. Ability to work independently.

7. Must obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Card.

8. Must maintain a valid driver’s license, in the state of residence, and a safe driving record meeting the company’s vehicle policy and insurability standards.

Travel – In Region 100% – Out of Region 50%

Salary Description

$28.00 to $34.00 hourly; eligible for OT
