RC&S LLC is currently seeking experienced refrigeration technicians to join our installation and service team. As a refrigeration technician, you will be responsible for processing and completing work orders, maintaining and installing refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical , electrical and controls failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You will also be required to startup new systems and preform evacuations and pump outs of existing systems.

To ensure success as a refrigeration technician, you should have advanced knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, Control and PKC systems good mechanical skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, a top-class refrigeration technician expertly installs, repairs, and maintains refrigeration equipment for a client with the least amount of down-time.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and completing work orders.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and compliance schematics.
• PSM knowledge
• Installing maintaining and repairing industrial logic controllers
• Knowledgeable in Pump out and startup of systems
• Observing and testing newly installed systems.
• Troubleshooting refrigeration equipment failures.
• Supervision of others
• Maintaining stock levels.

Requirements:

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to work in a temperature range -40 to 120F.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Requires standing, stooping, twisting, lifting, and other physical movements requiring full range of motion.
• EPA Certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour

Experience:

• Ammonia refrigeration: 2 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:
