CoolSys is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Intelligence to lead our efforts in harnessing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and drive business growth. The Director of Business Intelligence will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to optimize data utilization across the organization, enabling us to deliver exceptional service and value to our clients.


Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall business intelligence strategy in alignment with CoolSys’ objectives and growth plans.
Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all business intelligence assets.
Data Analysis and Insights: Lead comprehensive data analysis, identify trends, and extract actionable insights to support strategic decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Reporting and Visualization: Oversee the development of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to stakeholders.
Data Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT teams to design and maintain a robust data infrastructure, including data warehouses, ETL processes, and BI tools, to support the organization’s data analytics needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders and functional teams to understand their data requirements and develop solutions that address their needs, driving operational efficiency and business growth.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CoolSys’ capabilities in this area.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of developing and implementing business intelligence strategies that drive measurable business impact.
Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, SQL, and data visualization, specifically PowerBI.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Must have extensive experience in a service–based industry. Experience in the refrigeration, HVAC, or facilities services industry is a plus.
